Microchipping Microchipping is now available from Coast Equine to permanently identify your horse. The International Standard (ISO) chips are used as recommended by the American Veterinary Medicial Association (AVMA). Many Veterinarians, the Humane Society, SPCA, Animal Services, SCCHA, Equine Evacuation, and emergency workers are able to read these chips. This will ID your horse in case of theft, fire evacuation or loss. The chips are safe, permanent, cannot be altered and are globally accepted. The procedure is quick and easy. Cost is $45, and unlike other chips, registration is free.
